Bride Brain

Yes, its totally real. There was an article all about it in this months issue of Brides magazine. Therefore, it is a real medical condition of which I am currently experiencing.

This week I'm suffering. I can admit that I can be forgetful, annoyingly so. But this week, whoa, I keep checking to see if my ass is still back there I've been forgetting so much. The fact that it is also the beginning of a new month does not help either since it also means I've forgotten to write a few importamt checks.....oops...

Of course, the last thing I would forget is anything stitching related! I'm very excited as the end of this weeks brings the first round of mailing in my first round robin! Yay! I've decided to send out Lady of the Mist by Mirabilia. She is being stitched on 32 ct. Summer/sage khaki jobelan.

You have 'bride brain'?! How wonderful!

Love your threads there. Did you wind them or buy them that way?

Hey! I wind my threads, I label them by cutting the number off the dmc sleeve and taping it to the bobbin. I learned it from vonna over at the twisted stitcher. So far, my favorite method of labeling!

Haha. I think we ALL suffer from "bride brain" from time to time, even those of us NOT getting married! Can't wait to see Lady of the Mist stitched up!

That is going to be beautiful!

Just wait, then there'll be newlywed brain, pregnancy brain, mommy brain - that's as far as I've gotten so far!

I think I'm going to do this then with my threads. It would probably be easier in the long run.

Oh yes since I've started doing this with my bobbins I've loved it. Its alot more uniform and organized, plus I don't have to worry about a sticker falling off or writing wearing off

That's the same way I do my threads .. its so much easier!! Then when they are in your boxes you can see the numbers so much easier!!! I need to get plastic bobbins though .. the cardboard ones aren't working very well for me... but for now they'll do!! Its also nice when my girls want to do a project, I can just grab what they need, put it on a ring .. and hand it to them .. then .. put it all away when they're done!!

Your project will be beautiful once its all done!! I can't wait to see it!!
