Finish!!

I just put the finishing stitches into Snow Belles!

I really enjoyed stitching this piece. The fabric and thread colors are fantastic!

My mother had her open heart surgery yesterday. She had two valves in her heart replaced and spent yesterday and part of today recovering in intensive care. Today, she was moved to a regular room after sitting in a chair and even walking a bit! The doctor is very happy with her progress and our family is so relieved that she made it safely through her surgery. She has a long recovery ahead but she is already making great strides. I really appreciate your well wishes and prayers during this difficult time!

They look great! Now if only we could have some real snow here - not the mushy stuff we've gotten so far!

Glad to hear your Mom's doing well and that you've been able to see her.

I abandoned the blogging world in mid-December, but I did want to let you know that I am thinking about both you and your mom and your whole family. Lovely job on Snow Belles.
